An absolutely delightful recipe that will satisfy your sweet cravings without compromising your health goals. Introducing our mouthwatering Chocolate Protein Pudding Loaf! This luscious treat combines the irresistible goodness of chocolate with the power of protein and is the perfect sweet treat to be shared with the whole family!
Ingredients
2 cups milk of choice ( we used oat milk, but coconut milk works well too)
50g Xylitol or sweetner of choice
20g Cocoa powder, sifted
20g Corn flour
140g Dark chocolate, chopped
Freeze-dried strawberries, roughly crushed, to serve
Gold dust (optional), to serve
Preparation
Place the milk, whey protein, cocoa powder and corn flour into a bowl and whisk together to combine.
Strain this into a pot with the xylitol and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk continuously for 2-3 mins then add the chopped chocolate.
Allow to cook for a further 2 mins, still whisking, then remove from the heat.
Strain again into a bowl and then pour into a greased + lined loaf tin. Pop into the fridge for 6-8 hours (or overnight).
Once ready to serve, carefully flip over onto a serving board (your base will be the top) and remove the baking paper. Dust with freeze-dried strawberries and gold dust. Serve immediately with a couple of spoons for everyone to dig in together!
